Use Social lawfully

Do not use Social to create, edit, store, or distribute content that violates law or another person’s rights. That includes intellectual-property infringement, unlawful discrimination, fraud, harassment, privacy violations, or instructions that facilitate wrongdoing.

Do not create harmful or deceptive content

  • Child sexual abuse material, sexual content involving minors, or exploitative sexual content.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, or content intended to humiliate or harass.
  • Material that meaningfully facilitates violence, self-harm, dangerous wrongdoing, or illegal products and services.
  • Deceptive impersonation, forged evidence, fraudulent documents, phishing, scams, or misleading political content.
  • Targeted hateful or dehumanizing content based on protected characteristics.
  • False medical, legal, financial, safety, or product claims presented as verified fact.

Respect people and brands

Only upload or use personal images, logos, trademarks, copyrighted material, and confidential business assets when you have a lawful basis and the necessary permission. Do not present invented endorsements, likenesses, testimonials, or brand partnerships as real.

Clearly label synthetic or materially edited media when a reasonable viewer could mistake it for an authentic event, person, product result, or documentary record.

Protect the service

Do not attempt to bypass usage limits or safety controls, probe or extract secrets, access another workspace, automate abusive traffic, distribute malware, interfere with infrastructure, or use Social outputs to train or operate a competing service in violation of applicable rights or agreements.

Enforcement

We may block a request, remove content, limit generation, investigate activity, or suspend beta access when reasonably necessary to enforce this policy or protect users, providers, or the public. Context matters, including artistic, educational, newsworthy, and clearly fictional uses.

If you believe a decision was mistaken, use Need help? in your authenticated Social workspace and include the project and request involved.
